WikiLeaks has been financially blockaded without process for 445 days.

News:

  • WikiLeaks has released a torrent for its insurance file, which is 64.3 GB.

    • Swedish tabloid Expressen published an article which said WikiLeaks is planning a "massive smear campaign" against Sweden and its Foreign Minister Carl Bildt. They say they received an "internal WikiLeaks memo" which discusses cables that reveal Bildt as a US informer. WikiLeaks tweeted multiple responses to the article including:

    • The Bradley Manning Support Network gives instructions on how to attend Bradley's February 23 arraignment at Fort Meade.



    • Jerry White, SEP candidate for the US presidency, has called for the immediate release of Bradley Manning. David Levitt, Californian candidate for the US senate, strongly believes in protecting whistleblowers such as WikiLeaks.


    • Forbes published a set of two WikiLeaks "posters" received from an unnamed ex-WikiLeaks volunteer which promote a never released Bank of America leak.

      (Update: One of the "unreleased" posters is and has been available on WikiLeaks for quite a while.)


    • An article in the Washington Post looks at the events of "Collateral Murder" from the viewpoints of multiple U.S. soldiers who were present.


    • A blogpost analyses the continued controversy and developments over Guardian/Patrick Forbes documentary "WikiLeaks: Secrets and Lies."


    • A 10-minute pro-WikiLeaks documentary entitled "The Assassination of Julian Assange" is available on Youtube.


    • Professor Ferrada-noli has published part 2 of his "Sweden, Assange, and Pinochet" series, which focuses on the politically-appointed lay judges in Sweden.


    • Twitter user @karwalski has published a letter he received from Australian Attorney General Nicola Roxon regarding Julian Assange's extradition.
